Featuring a poem by a survivor, keynote speaker Representative Tawna Sanchez, and a panel of culturally specific domestic violence service providers, this event will provide the general public with a greater understanding of the significance of race and ethnicity in relationship to domestic violence.

The program will also include facilitated discussions about available resources (particularly culturally specific ones) and ideas on how we can all take action to prevent domestic violence and support those who are affected by it.
